Origins
The early history of Toto which began in 1917, mirrored Japan's rapid economic growth. In the first half, Toto made products to meet the growing demand for modern, contemporary urban housing. It had the first tunnel kilns in the country that could produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered the use of automation for production control, which helps to increase efficiency and a more consistent production.
The company began expanding its operations overseas in the latter part of the 1980s to take advantage of new markets and sales opportunities. The company established the Cera Trading Company to import and market other products of other manufacturers in order to enhance its own range of sanitary earthenwares and plumbing fittings. This strategy increased sales and expanded the firm’s global market share.
In the 90s, Toto began focusing on research and development of water-related appliances. It also improved its distribution system to better serve customers and boost profits. The company employed the same just-in-time approach to its supply chain management and sales program. This resulted in a higher level customer satisfaction.
Toto continued to develop toilet technology. Its latest toilet has a strong, eco-friendly tornado flush. Toto uses recycled water for its manufacturing process and also has a green purchasing policy. In addition to toilets, Toto manufactures bathtubs and faucets and hand dryers that are more energy efficient than conventional models.
The first museum of the company was opened in the year 2015 It has exhibits about Toto's iconic products and their development as well as its group companies (all related to ceramics) as well as the history of plumbing and other products like bath units and, in a separate gallery, Toto products sold around the world. Discography
With a name like Asia you'd expect the group to be prog kings and queens but they're actually a pretty straight forward rock group. The band 토토사이트 (what google did to me) was initially a four-piece and released two albums: 1979's self-titled debut and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. The group has a diverse musical background but their biggest success was in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a major blockbuster, but not without its share of issues. The record companies put the band under pressure to deliver a hit single or they would rescind the album. Toto was able achieve this with the help from the hit song "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery is the result of their previous experiences. Before forming the group, members were session musicians for artists like Boz Scaggs. Steely Dan and Seals and Crofts. Their sonic trademark has become the standard for '80s music, influencing many contemporary artists.
The album starts out hard with songs such as Running Out of Time or 안전놀이터 추천 Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to write great AOR tunes that slowly creep into your head. The album also features more jazzy, slower tracks such as The Little Things and Chinatown. The album ends with Great Expectations. This song is a mix of folk and distorted AOR 스포츠토토 사이트 which could seem like a complete blunder, but is very effective.
After Toto IV, the band's fortunes took a turn to the downside. David Hungate left the band to pursue a solo career and the band was dominated by drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball was fired from the band in the aftermath of drug-related charges. However, the group continued to perform as a trio, which included Michael Porcaro and Steve Lukather.
Toto released Isolation despite the turmoil. It wasn't as popular as IV. The band was able to release a chart-topping album, Kingdom of Desire, in 1992. The album marked the end of the original Toto lineup and was also the first to feature a new singer, Simon Phillips.

Line-up
Turn Back, the band's third studio album is an ode to the classic sextet structure and a more consistent, stronger effort with a harder edge. Its edgier sound reflected the maturation of the group and included drummer Bobby Kimball's increased proficiency on the drums, as well as a more confident, mature vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams. David Paich's keyboard work was also more sophisticated, sharper and less akin to previous recordings.
After touring to promote their album, the band recorded their Amsterdam live concert which was released on Eagle Records as a 2-CD set entitled Falling In Between. A new studio album was released shortly after, and the group went on a world-wide tour in support of the album. In this time, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes replaced Paich and bassist David Hungate quit the group to spend time with his family.
In 1998, Paich and Lukather started searching through old tapes and demos for an album that would feature songs that had never been recorded before. The album was released in 2001 as a duo album titled Then and Now. It was the first album by the band without the single track "A". The album also included a previously unreleased track "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth album, Old Is New was an uncommercial success and vocalist Williams was suffering from laryngitis, which restricted his singing capabilities. Hungate also returned to Nashville and Leland Sklar's drumming duties were replaced by Shem Von Schroeck.
Downes, Wetton Palmer and Howe, the original members of Asia, met in England early in 2006 to discuss the possibility that the group could be revived. This lineup, with the exception of Howe (who was working with Yes at the time) was eventually referred to as Toto XIV and toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The band also featured the appearance of singer Michael McDonald, and a backing singer named Mabvuto Carpenter.
