Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.

For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This swaps the current item for another similar one, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded.

The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests, or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item of equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can reroll their equipment using three aspects: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power increases the damage done by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you need a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. This will display a list of the item's level, and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he is able to hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an excellent method for players to gain an advantage in battle without straining their accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.

For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are several ways to acquire these stones. Leveling

Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one item at the same time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be applied and a minimum amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add items to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of an item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will no longer be available for it. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will have a discount.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this could destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain stats of armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade Tokens.

The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This will give them more effects or an improved quality of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item upgrades it isn't able to be removed or substituted without restriction, however the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.

Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that could further improve the item's stats.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get an exact roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of that item and the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item upgrader kit in your inventory after you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade.
