Players can reroll their equipment using three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next success result is repeated. This lets you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. To upgrade equipment players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the Best item Upgrade. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The game will place an item in your inventory once you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
