15 Surprising Stats About Item Upgrading
World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
The upgrade option allows players to boost the gear rating of an item upgrader kit up 700 points, and then give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory before heading to the kiln.
Certain items are worth upgrading because of their unique stats. (For instance the perfect rolled breakpoint armor used in melee PvP). Other items like weapons aren't changed much after an upgrade, and aren't worth the effort.
Weapons
Weapons can be upgraded to increase their numeric stats like crit chance, attack damage PvE and damage from PvP. They also have a flat bonus that increases the damage they deal per second. Many weapons also have a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a single unit. This bonus can sometimes be more than the damage that an upgrade can do on its own.
The cost of upgrading a weapon's capabilities is contingent on the quality of the weapon and its current level. For example the weapon with a +2 rating will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while an upgrade of +3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a weapon will continue increase until it is required to use the higher level of Smithing Stones, at which the number will be reset to one.
Upgrades to weapons can also reroll the stats of their base. This is usually a positive factor, but it could also have negative consequences. Upgrades can make items impossible to use, unless you are exceptionally lucky.
It is possible to upgrade armor items to boost their performance. For instance, if you have a helm or chest, this will increase its defense base while gloves and belts will improve their required strength and dexterity. Armor also has a reroll option for its Enhanced Defense percentage, which means that it could change its roll to a lower value.
The upgrade template for a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain when upgraded in addition to their respective values. This means that a change from a sword that has 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in a weapon receiving 3% of attack damage. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will be hit 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.
Rerolling a weapon can be possible by pressing the green button in the Item Upgrader Kit menu with the arrows that are circling. This will roll the item and change its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's level or tie it to the account status.
Armor
Adding a few upgrades to your armor could make a an enormous difference in your capacity to withstand. Certain sets provide massive increases in poison or curse, fire or magic resistance, which makes it easier to navigate through tough terrain. In general, the greater defense you can offer your character, the more health you will get from each point. So, it's best to upgrade your armor.
To upgrade your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four fountains in all, and each requires you to complete a special side quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed the main side quest and mastered the fountain that corresponds and then you can talk to any Great Fairy to open up the armor upgrading menu.
The amount of material needed to upgrade item each piece of armor is different. In general, you're looking at anything from three to five Red Chuchu Jellies and ten Rupees for the initial upgrade, and then anywhere from five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Horns for each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for instance, can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to stay ahead in frigid conditions with a large number of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other side, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense, which means you can survive a raid with your comrades.
You can't upgrade items your armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior then you should concentrate on upgrading your armor to increase physical power or spell power. You should also save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still wear by the end of the story, for example the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you wear in the final boss fight the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.
You can also get some perks for your armor by presenting the jeweler at Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. You'll typically want to keep these upgrades to the weapon you'll be using to win the game. For example, the Longsword or Battleaxe. It's nevertheless beneficial to have some upgrades for the armor on your chest and helmets to allow you to sneak around some monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquids that when consumed by a participant, produce a temporary effect for a short period of time. There are five different types of potions, each having specific effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded, increasing their effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding glowstone dust and redstone.
Potion upgrades require a certain amount of XP. This can be earned by crafting them on a crafting table or by placing them in the Alchemist chest. The cost of upgrading varies based on the type of potion as well as the item's Rarity and Mark Level.
To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This opens a GUI where you can choose the potion you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll yield when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a time, and the XP that they generate will be added to your current XP count.
Once a potion is upgraded, it will not degrade in the event that you use it again or break the bottle in the container it is stored. You can also change the name of the potion by clicking on it in your inventory.
Version 1.7.2 introduced a few modifications to the way potions are used. For instance splash potions now have the duration of 0:08 (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the item hover display). The table of potion now crafted from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. This allows it to be used by players in Survival and Bedrock. Unlike the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions cannot be mixed in cauldrons. The same applies to using a potion in an empty cauldron. This will deplete the liquid, and then refill the bottle.
In addition, there are lingering potions that are brewed using splash and dragon breath potions. Redstone is also added to potions that are lingering to increase their effect. The potion table is now laid out more in line with the Java Edition, and new potions were added such as potion of leaping, decomposition potion, as well as turtle master potions.
Trinkets
A trinket is an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece jewelry. It may be a reference to an object or decoration that serves a purpose but is not particularly significant such as a trinket. In some cultures, a trinket is used to express friendship or affection between family members.
In addition to weapons, armor and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. They can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. In contrast to other upgrades for items trinkets are able to be swapped out at will without losing their status.
The upgrade vendors are found in major cities and in the capital of each zone, and in some cases, dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased with tokens, gold, or fragments from a rare trinket.
Upgrades are a cheaper alternative to buying a brand new trinket. You can upgrade a trinket for just 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same base level as the old trinket but will also have an additional 1% bonus upgrade.
Trinkets can be re-upgraded once they're no longer needed and allows players to boost their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players which makes them a popular alternative to gold.
In general players should make upgrades to their highest priority items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are upgraded first before their secondary gear, and then other equipment that they will not replace in the near future (such as an earring or a cloak). When choosing which items to upgrade players should also consider the preferred statistics of their class. For example, if Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tanks it is recommended that they upgrade their chest, helm, shoulders, and belt.
Trinkets can be upgraded to a higher ilvl after they are no longer useful and the new trinket will have an additional 1% upgrade bonus. Re-upgrading will destroy the trinket unless it can be salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a higher tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades but still less expensive than purchasing new ones.
