20 Things You Should Be Educated About Item Upgrade
World of Warcraft item upgrader Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The item upgrade is a type of enchantment that increases the stats in certain armor or weapons. This includes tertiary stats like Leech or Speed.
A special evolution item that allows Porygon to evolve into Porygon2. It is found at Pokestops and Gyms.
Universal upgrades can be applied to any kind of equipment and provide smaller bonuses compared to other components that are specific to the particular type of equipment.
Leveling
Upgrades allow players to upgrade items by increasing their levels. The item's "guaranteed bonuses" are also improved by the level increment. Every level upgrade grants bonuses based on the the tier and increases the stat by 3. These extras range from a +3 bonus, to a +1 bonus or an unspecified buff.
Each item can be upgraded for a specific number of times. However, after an upgrade the item can be transferred to a higher-leveled item that is of equal or greater value.
This method is extremely beneficial for players who wish to acquire equipment with a certain level of stats before they have the chance to acquire a new item. Transfer is easy to use and allows the player to save up on upgrades materials.
upgrade item materials are collected as the player clears their cache of content. They can be used to enhance or replace an item. Every item requires a specific type of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones, while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. These materials are renamed when the item is upgraded, for example Stone Fragments become Stones and Harmony Shards become Life Shards.
It is important to upgrade items to boost a character's performance. However, it is also important to think about how much this will cost. The cost of upgrading an item could be a significant amount of gold which could have been better spent on new gear. This is why it is recommended to upgrade item only the most necessary items in any given circumstance.
This typically means upgrading the weapon first followed by the chest and legs and finally the helm. If the player can afford it then upgrading trinkets should be considered at this point to maximize their proc potential. Upgrades to a high-end Throne of Thunder item may be worthwhile due to the more damage it could cause. Certain trinkets are not worth upgrading until they provide an enhancement that is significant to the specific build. This is especially true for the breakpoint gear that is that are used to calculate high-value stats such as IAS or FHR.
Rerolling
Rerolling is an action that lets players alter the stats of a weapon, rings, or armor depending on its type. It can be used to replace existing bonuses or add new ones. It can also be used to change the power of the item's base.
While rerolling can be a good way to boost your power in the early phases of the game, it's not a mandatory part of the process. Once you hit your level 6 Upgrade Item goal generally, you should go down and look for the best upgrades you can, or save for the next group of items. This will ensure that you have a strong roster at the time you reach your level 9 upgrade goal.
The rerolling process is similar to the system of leveling up. Reroll tokens can be used to eliminate any Level Up option from your item and then exchange it for another. Reroll tokens, unlike Level Up do not reset the item's level. This means that if you roll an upgraded item it won't be at that level and won't have its extra bonus.
In addition to rerolling, players may make use of a specific technique called Eliminate to remove any one Level Up option from their equipment or weapons. This is useful when you've lost a gacha or you want to roll an item that has five stars. You'll need to create your own account or sign in via social media.
In each town, you are able to visit an Occultist to change the aspects or stats of a weapon or armor. This is useful if you want to improve an epic five-star unit, or when your four-star elite character isn't working for you.
Rerolling tokens can be acquired by completing certain quests. These can be purchased from the Occultist for 300 gold or they can be found in the holozon boxes which are dropped after having completed certain dungeons. You can reroll any weapon, armor, or ring simply by moving the icon on the page of your item with the lock to the desired slot.
Sets
A set is a set of items that have a certain amount of similarity. Sets are utilized every day. For example an egg dozen or a group of friends. Sets are helpful in organizing things and using operations like intersection, union, and difference to manage them efficiently. Sets can be utilized in a variety of ways, including arranging music on a play list or classifying students according to their grades.
In Nioh, the game uses sets to provide special effects to players when they wear specific pieces of an Armor Set. These bonuses, known as Set Bonuses, are comparable to and sometimes superior to Effects. While it is not explained in-universe why the armor sets must be worn together to create these extra effects, they provide a nice change of pace when playing the game. The armor sets with Set Bonuses are available in various locations throughout Hyrule, including the Dark Moon and Twilight Temple.
Set Bonuses are included with each piece of equipment that is part of a Set. The tooltip on the bottom of the item will inform you which Set Bonuses are offered. The Set Bonuses will appear in a red box.
Some of these bonuses are exclusive to specific pieces of equipment. For instance, if you equip the full Phantom Armor set you will receive +8 defense (compared to the usual +3 defense included in most equipment). Other sets are available only through specific quests or buying them from the Auction House.
It is also possible to obtain Set Bonuses on multiple pieces of equipment at the same time. If you own the complete Kestra's Descent Set, and the matching parts of Twinblade of Shadow, you will receive the + version of the set's bonus if you be able to match them.
Unlike Effects, which change each time you upgrade them, Set Bonuses stay identical even as the individual pieces of equipment they're connected to rise. If an item's exemplar is to be too low, then the set bonus won't work.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are unique effects that are available on a set of gear that grants a bonus in battle. They give a certain amount of a specific type of stat, for example damage to weapons, defenses, or resistances. They cannot stack however, only one of them will work at any given time. The amount of a stat is determined by the number of pieces in the set. For example you could have four weapons and three chests however only one of them will benefit you.
They typically increase the primary stat, however, they can boost secondary stats as well. Defence bonuses increase three defence positions and two kinds of defenses. For example a five-piece Hundings Rage set will give you a total of 400 defenses in your gear. This is a huge increase in your gear, especially as a melee character.
This is an excellent feature, and is among the most well-known in the game. Currently only a few sets of gear come with set bonuses. They are only available on the Test Realm. However, this number is likely to rise once the update is released. For instance, the popular 7 school-specific Dragoon's gear will have its bonus added to it as soon as the update is live.
While Set Bonuses don't stack within sets, they do stack with other sets. This is great for those who want to make the most optimal combination of sets. It requires some planning. Set bonuses only affect the shell (not the armoring or mods) of an item of equipment, therefore you should be aware when putting them.
A key point to note is that the strength of a set's bonus will not change in the event that you exemplarize more than three levels below the minimum level allowed for an Enhancement of that type. This rule is not applicable to Purple (Very rare) Sets PvP Sets, Sets for PvP and Archetype Origin Sets. Their set bonuses will be in effect regardless of exemplar level.
