Don t Make This Mistake When It Comes To Your Toto Asia
The Band Toto Asia
Toto was expanding its production facilities in the overseas market and doing business in France, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. Toto saw North America as a growth market for Washlet bidet seats and toilets, as opposed to its "base" markets of Japan and China.
Dhaniram Toto was recording Toto words to ensure that the next generation would be able to read the words. However, many of the words were being replaced with foreign words, such as dui from Bengali for verandah.
Origins
Established in 1917, Toto's early years mirrored Japan's economic growth. In the beginning, Toto produced products to meet the growing demand for modern, brand new urban housing. It was the first tunnel kiln in the country that could produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered the use automation to control production, which allows for greater efficiency and consistency.
In the latter half of the 1980s, the company began to expand overseas to benefit from sales and new markets. It created the Cera Trading Company, importing and selling other products of manufacturers to complement its own lines of sanitary earthenware and plumbing fittings. This strategy increased sales and expanded the firm's market share in the world.
By the 1990s, Toto had shifted its emphasis on research and development of household appliances that use water. It also upgraded its distribution system to better meet the needs of customers and to increase profits. The company also employed the just-in time approach in its supply chain management and sales program. This led to a higher level of satisfaction with the customer.
Toto continued to innovate toilet technology. The most recent toilet features a powerful, environmentally-friendly tornado flush. The company uses recycled water for its manufacturing process and also has a green purchasing policy. In addition to toilets Toto manufactures faucets and bathtubs and hand dryers that are more energy efficient than conventional models.
The first Toto museum opened in the year 2015. It has exhibitions on Toto’s seminal products and their evolution, the group companies (all of which are ceramics) as well as the history of plumbing, and other products like bath units. In another gallery, visitors will find Toto products that are sold across the world. The museum even has a bathroom that includes a WASHLET toilet and other toilet-related innovations.
Before beginning the formation of Toto members of the group performed sessions for a variety of musicians. Keyboardist David Paich, drummer Jeff Porcaro, and guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather all performed on the album Silk Degrees by Boz Scaggs. They also performed on records by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.
Discography

The album also includes some more jazzy, slower tracks such as The Little Things and Chinatown. After Toto IV, the band's fortunes began to decline. David Hungate left the band to focus on his solo career and the band was dominated by drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball left the band following drug-related charges. The band continued to play with Michael Porcaro, Steve Lukather and Michael Porcaro.
Despite the chaos, Toto forged ahead and released Isolation, which was not as successful as IV. The band managed to release an album that was chart-topping, Kingdom of Desire, in 1992. The album marked the end of the original Toto lineup and was the first to feature the new singer, Simon Phillips.
