The Band Toto Asia

Toto was expanding its production facilities overseas and was doing business in France, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and the People's Republic of China. North America was seen as an opportunity to grow for toilets and bidet seats, in contrast to its "base" markets in Japan and China.

Dhaniram Toto recorded Toto words so that the next generation could be able to read the words. However, many of the words were being replaced by foreign words, such as dui, which is Bengali for verandah.

Origins

Toto's early history that began in 1917, was a reflection of Japan's economic growth. In the first half of its existence, the company made products to meet the demand for new, modern urban housing. It was the first tunnel kiln in the country to produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered the use automation to control production, which allows for more efficiency and consistency.

In the late 1980s, the company began expanding overseas in order to take advantage of sales and new markets. It created the Cera Trading Company, importing and selling other products of manufacturers to complement its own range of plumbing fittings and sanitary earthenware. This strategy boosted sales and expanded the firm's market share.

By the 1990s, Toto had shifted its focus on research and development of household appliances that use water. It also improved its distribution system to better serve its customers and improve profit. The company embraced a just-in time method of managing supply chains and applied the same approach in its sales strategy. This resulted in a higher level of satisfaction of customers.

Toto has continued to innovate on the toilet technology. The latest toilet, for example is equipped with a powerful tornado flush that is more environmentally green than traditional toilets. Toto uses recycled water for its manufacturing process and has a green purchasing policy. Apart from toilets, Toto manufactures faucets and bathtubs, as well as hand dryers that are more efficient in energy use than standard models.

The company's first museum opened in the year 2015 and features exhibits about Toto's iconic products and their evolution as well as its group companies (all related to ceramics) as well as the history of plumbing and other products such as bath units, and in a separate gallery, Toto products sold around the world. The museum also has a bathroom that features the WASHLET toilet, as well as other toilet-related innovations.

Before the formation of Toto, members of the band did sessions for many musicians. Boz Scaggs' album Silk Degrees featured keyboardist David Paich as well as guitarists Mike Porcaro & Steve Lukather, drummer Jeff Porcaro & Steve Lukather. They also performed on albums by Steely Don, Seals and Crofts and Sonny and Cher.

Discography

You would expect a group with a name like Asia to be a prog rock band, but it is actually a relatively straightforward rock group. The band started out as a group and recorded two albums - 1979's self titled debut and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. Although the band have a wide range of musical backgrounds, their biggest success was achieved in 1982 with Toto IV.

The album was a huge blockbuster, however it did not come without its own set of issues. Record companies put the band on spot with the ultimatum "give us an album that is a success or we'll sack you" and the pressure was on to meet the deadline. Toto was able to achieve this feat with the help of the smash hit "Africa."

Toto's musical mastery is due to their previous experiences, as the band members were session musicians for artists such as Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan, and Seals and Crofts prior to forming the group. Their sonic trademark has become the standard of 1980s music, and has inspired a lot of contemporary artists.

This album starts off hard, with songs such as Running Out of Time and Unknown Soldier showcasing the bands ability to write fantastic AOR songs that slowly work their hooks into your mind. The album also has some more mellow, jazzy tracks such as The Little Things and Chinatown. The album concludes with Great Expectations, a song which combines folk and distorted AOR and could sound like a complete flop, but is incredibly effective.

After Toto IV, the band's fortunes began to wane. David Hungate left the band to focus on his solo career, and the band had several drummers. In 1984, 메이저사이트 Bobby Kimball was fired from the group in the aftermath of drug-related charges. However, the group continued to perform as a trio featuring Michael Porcaro and Steve Lukather.

Toto released Isolation despite the turbulence. It was not as popular as IV. The band was able to release a chart-topping album, Kingdom of Desire, in 1992. The album was the last of Toto's lineup and the debut of Simon Phillips, a new singer.

Line-up

Turn Back, the band's third studio album is an attempt to return to the classic sextet structure and it was a more consistent, more powerful effort with a harder edge. The more edgy sound of the album reflected the maturation of the group, with drummer Bobby Kimball's increased ability on the drums and a more mature, confident vocal delivery by singer Joseph Williams. Keyboardist David Paich's work was more precise, sharper and less cloying than earlier performances.

After touring to promote their album, the group recorded the band's Amsterdam live show that was released on Eagle Records as a 2-CD set titled Falling In Between. A new studio album followed shortly after, and the band embarked on a world-wide tour in support of the album. During this time, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes replaced Paich and bassist David Hungate quit the group to spend time with his family.

In 1998, Paich and Lukather started looking through old tapes and demos for an album that would feature songs that were never recorded before. The album was released in 2001 and released as a double album titled Then & Now. It was the first album in the band's history that did not include one single track with the word "A" in the title, and it also contained one previously unreleased track, "Kari-Anne".

By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial failure, and singer Williams was suffering from a severe laryngitis condition which limited his singing capabilities. Additionally, Hungate returned to Nashville, while drummer Leland Sklar was replaced by Shem von Schroeck.

Downes along with the other original members of Asia--Wetton, Palmer, and Howe--convened a meeting in England in early 2006 to discuss the possibility of formally restructuring the band. They toured extensively.

In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The band featured a special guest appearance from singer Michael McDonald and a backing vocalist named Mabvuto Carver.
