Line-up
Turn Back, the band's third studio album it was an ode to the traditional sextet style, and it was a more consistent, more powerful effort that had a more grittier edge. The more edgy sound of the album was a reflection of the maturation of the group, with drummer Bobby Kimball's improved proficiency on the drums, as well as a more mature, confident vocal delivery by singer Joseph Williams.
