Why Item Upgrade Is Relevant 2024
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.
For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with an identical item, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in chests and crates or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of a piece equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by weapons and melee attacks while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades the item upgrade to a higher quality. To create them, you'll need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item upgrading that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next Success result is rerolled. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
In the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. They can also be purchased by players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade gear to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item level upgrade. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity, the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the durability of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without straining their bank account. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item level upgrade with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in the area. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.
Items with upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be used and a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can add equipment that needs to be upgraded, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. When players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will not be available to it. Once a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will have a discount.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an additional effect or benefit while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this could ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to boost the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium and an amount of Upgrade tokens.
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This will give them additional effects or an increase in level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats, but because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item upgrader. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
If you've fulfilled the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item Upgrader kit in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
